Product Development

We keep building based on field feedback.

FieldWorks grows with the construction teams, users, and affiliates who help shape what gets built next.

Product Development

The toolbox is growing.

We are committed to continuing to develop and share new products based on feedback from users and affiliates. If you have an idea for a new product, please contact us. We would love to hear it.

How the product roadmap is driven by practitioner feedback

FieldWorks started because a licensed Professional Engineer at Ontario Engineering Solutions needed better tools for the construction projects our own firm administers. That is still how the roadmap gets set: features and new tools come from what practitioners, users, and affiliates tell us is missing or awkward in their day-to-day workflow, not from a generic product backlog. Every one of the five live tools, Item Specification Composer, Submittal and RFI Tracker, Inspection Tracker, Job Cost Tracker, and Deficiency Tracker, exists because a real construction administration task needed a better way to get done.

How to submit an idea

Use the support form and choose Provide Suggestion or Request Tool, or email support@fieldworkshq.com directly. Tell us what workflow you are trying to solve and how your team handles it today. The more specific the context, the more useful your suggestion is when we weigh it against everything else on the list. Affiliates who work across many construction teams are a particularly valuable source of these ideas, since they see the same friction repeated across different organizations.

What "Coming soon" catalog cards mean

Cards marked Coming soon in the toolbox below are tools we are actively considering but have not yet built. They do not have dedicated marketing pages, pricing, or a committed release date, only a short description of the workflow they are meant to cover. A card moves from Coming soon to a real, billable tool once it is a genuine launch candidate, at which point it gets its own product page, pricing, and trial like the five tools available today.

How tool activation and trials work

Each live tool is billed independently, per user, per tool, monthly or annually with a 10 percent discount for annual billing. Activating a tool for the first time starts a 14-day local trial. A payment method is required to activate the trial, but nothing is charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel before then at no cost. You are never required to buy the whole toolbox: activate only the tools your team needs, and add more later as your workflow grows. If you want to explore every tool first without creating an account, start with the free guest sandbox.
