Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions

1. Overview

These Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions ("Affiliate Terms") govern your participation in the FieldWorks Affiliate Program operated by Ontario Engineering Solutions Inc. ("OES," "we," "us," or "our"). By applying to and participating in the Affiliate Program, you agree to be bound by these Affiliate Terms in addition to the FieldWorks Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. Commission Structure

As an approved affiliate, you will earn a commission on subscription fees collected from users you refer to FieldWorks. Your commission percentage is set by OES at the time of approval and may be adjusted for future revenue at OES's discretion.

Commission is calculated on actual subscription payments collected during the first 12 months from each referred user's signup date (the "Attribution Window"). If a referred user cancels their subscription before the 12-month period ends, commission is only earned on payments actually collected. After the Attribution Window expires, no further commission accrues from that user.

3. Referral Attribution

Attribution is determined by last-click tracking. When a prospective user clicks your unique affiliate link, a tracking cookie is set. If that user creates a FieldWorks account while the cookie is active, they are permanently attributed to you. Attribution is one-time and permanent — once a user is attributed to an affiliate, that attribution does not change.

If a prospective user clicks multiple affiliate links, the most recent click determines attribution.

4. Payment Terms

Affiliate commission payments are made bi-annually on the following schedule:

  • June 1 — covering the period December 1 through May 31
  • December 1 — covering the period June 1 through November 30

Payments are made via Interac e-Transfer to the email address you provide in your application. You are responsible for ensuring your e-Transfer email is current and able to receive funds.

A minimum balance of $50.00 CAD is required for payout. If your accumulated commission balance is under $50.00 at the time of a scheduled payment, the balance carries forward to the next payment period.

5. Affiliate Conduct

As a FieldWorks affiliate, you agree to the following:

  • No misrepresentation. You must not make false, misleading, or exaggerated claims about FieldWorks, its features, pricing, or capabilities.
  • No discount authority. You are not authorized to offer discounts, promotional pricing, or special deals on behalf of FieldWorks unless explicitly authorized in writing by OES.
  • Disclosure required. You must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship with FieldWorks in any public posts, reviews, articles, or promotional content, in compliance with applicable advertising and disclosure regulations.
  • No spam or unsolicited communications. You must not use unsolicited email, messages, or other spam techniques to promote your affiliate link.

6. Termination

OES may terminate your participation in the Affiliate Program at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. Upon termination:

  • Your affiliate link will be deactivated and will no longer track new referrals.
  • Existing referred users attributed to you will continue to accrue commission through their remaining Attribution Windows.
  • Any outstanding commission balance will be paid in the next scheduled payment cycle, subject to the $50.00 minimum payout threshold.

You may also voluntarily withdraw from the Affiliate Program at any time by contacting us at support@fieldworkshq.com.

7. Modifications

OES reserves the right to modify these Affiliate Terms at any time. We will provide 30 days' written notice of material changes via the email address associated with your affiliate account. Your continued participation in the Affiliate Program after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Affiliate Program is provided "as is." OES makes no guarantees regarding the volume of referrals, conversions, or commission earnings. OES's total liability under these Affiliate Terms shall not exceed the total commission payments made to you in the preceding 12 months.
